Our mission is social change through women and girls.
We know that improving conditions for women and girls – getting at the root cause of social issues – has a ripple effect. When you invest in a woman, you invest in her family, and ultimately, her community.

We support women-led solutions that result in sustainable and long-lasting change for our community through two primary channels:
- Grantmaking programs, which provide the financial backing for social change initiatives.
- Capacity Building programs, which build the social change capacity of our community.

The Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee began in 1986. Today we are part of a fast-growing movement — one that recognizes that investments in women and girls can accelerate positive change in communities.
